Keto Hot Chocolate Recipe – “Creamy & Rich” – Perfect Winter Warmer Drink

We’ve come up with a new version of our old hot chocolate recipe. Some people were telling us that they were feeling a little drowsy afterward.


So we’ve changed the ingredients slightly and added MCT powder for those wanting a little kick early or midway through the day.

Ingredients for Making Keto Hot Chocolate

  • 3 cups of unsweetened Macadamia Milk
  • 1 cup of Heavy Cream
  • 1 x 3.5-ounce block of Lindt 90% Cocoa, broken up
  • ⅓ cup of Swerve
  • 2 scoops MCT powder (leave it out if before bed as it will give you energy)
  • 1 teaspoon of Vanilla Essence

This Keto hot chocolate recipe makes 4 serves. 1 serving is 1 cup.

How to Make Keto Hot Chocolate

  1. Place all the ingredients into a medium sized saucepan. Stir gently.
  2. Cook on low for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 min to prevent the chocolate from sticking the edges of the saucepan.
  3. After cooking, stir well before pouring into glasses and serving.
  4. Optional: top with whipped heavy cream and chocolate shavings.

Any leftover keto hot chocolate can be stored in the fridge for up to 1 week, and reheated in the microwave or on the stove top.
